For auction is a 1996 Rolex Explorer II 16570 T serial White tritium dial caliber 3185 40mm GMT unpolished but showing wear full set. Here is the good: 1. This is a holes case with Oyster 78360 bracelet in unpolished condition; the white dial is starting to develop a nice patina which makes such an attractive contrast against the snow white dial. 2. The watch is unpolished and shows off what 28 years of daily wear looks like; apart from a small ding/mark/gash at 3 o'clock on the bezel condition is nice. 3. It is working correctly and well. 4. It has its full set box and papers. Here is the not so good: 1. It has the previously mentioned ding at 3 o'clock and general years of wear on the unpolished case. This is a perfectly nice example of a 5 digit sports Rolex from the 1990's and carries remarkably minimal premium for being the lone standout white dial reference from the era (if things made more sense it would have a big premium because its different).
