For auction is a 1979 Rolex Date 1503 14k yellow gold silver dial unpolished case fluted bezel 34mm automatic caliber 1565 COSC chronometer. A gorgeous watch in an exceptionally clean original condition. The case looks super chunky and meaty having never before met a polishing wheel; the gold has a slight bit of age related patina. A model that happens to look especially current despite being about 44 years old which is one of the amazing things about Rolex DNA.
