For auction is a 1960 Omega Constellation Pie Pan CK 14381 caliber 551 automatic chronometer 34mm with original papers and chronometer certificate. A wonderful example with a gorgeous caramel patina dial, an unpolished case and its original paper and chronometer cert. These have always been a screaming deal as compared to a DJ; very much as nice of a watch but always available for a fraction of what vintage DJ go for. There are just two quibbles on this watch: crown is a later replaced but Omega signed crown and caseback has an engraving of a name, C Frazier. The crown is correctable if someone were to care enough to find the right octagonal crown. But this is unquestionably a special Pie Pan connie: the dial alone would make it so but the having its papers really sets it apart.

Dial: Ochre colored patina pie pan dial with applied gold indices, cross hair, dauphine gold hands, applied Omega logo and Constellation star logo

Condition: 80% (8.0 of 10): unpolished case is good to very good, patina dial is exceptional, only flaws are wrong crown and caseback engraving
