For auction is a 1950s Longines made by Star Watch Case 2220-P automatic 33mm caliber 19AS 'T' inner track motif dial with lacquer patina. Classic 1950's watch is an interesting piece with a USA made Star Watch Case that has semi twisted lugs and a screwdown caseback; it faintly echoes some of the more famous designs that Star would go on to make some years later. A simple piece but with stealthy design features: stylized arabic applied numerals and fancy baton markers, faceted dapuhine hands, crosshair, inner 'T' motif, recessed crown. It is all subtle but underscores the quality.
