For auction is a 2013 Hublot Masterpiece MP-02 Key of Time ref. 902.nx.1179.rx nr. 4 of 50 retail $276,000. The Good: 1. This was the watch Hublot came out with after incorporating BNB concepts into their manufacture. That has turned out to mean a tremendous amount; many of the brands making more and more complicated tourbillons during the aughts are now defunct. That Hublot has the Masterpiece line as sort of a prestige/halo series is amazing: Hublot is not going anywhere and the ability to be supported with a watch that has over 500 parts is necessary. 2. Perhaps the most poetic watch I can think of: its a highly complicated horizontal tourbillon with the ability to both speed up and slow down time. It gets to the root of the meaning of life and is unbelievably profound. 3. Working and functioning correctly. 4. Really like having a supercar on the wrist; a wild and exceptional wearing experience. The Bad: 1. Watch only.
