For auction is a 1960's Glycine Airman for the Royal New Zealand Air Force (R.N.Z.A.F.) 36mm automatic AS 1700 with fixed bars. This watch came from a military collector who had it in his collection for a long time; to call this watch rare might be an understatement it is essentially unknown as nearly as I can tell. Likely done in a tiny batch for a small regiment of the RNZAF that served in Vietnam in the mid-1960's. When this watch sells it is entirely possible another one might not surface for years, if another ever surfaces at all. Beyond the assigned military rarity it has a gorgeous dial sporting a great patina. Not hacking as it is missing the little rod in between the 24 on the dial.
