ETERNA KONTIKI SUPER 633.1018.41 AUTOMATIC 1970s STERILE TROPICAL BROWN PATINAEterna
For auction is an Eterna Kontiki Super 633.1018.41 1970s civilian issue heavy tropical patina diver automatic. The watch has a transitional dial and case: no logo of the Kontiki ship on the caseback and different ref numbers on outer and inner back and using the last generation dial (typically scene on the round twisted lug case). An incredibly unique civilian version of the Super Kontiki that did come from Israel: from the looks of it it certainly could have been used in wartime conditions. Original polish shows years of heavy use, as does the bezel showing heavy patina. All lume is original except minute hand which could have been filled in later or a replacement OEM hand, not sure which. The whole package here is incredible and unique: a really special vintage sports diver of some importance.
