For auction is a 1966 Tudor Prince Oysterdate ref. 7996/0 34mm oyster case roulette date wheel patina on the lacquer Rolex bracelet caliber 2484 small Rose logo applied on baton. The configuration of this particular 7996/0 is the one to have: applied baton small rose logo, roulette date and on an Oyster folded link bracelet. The patina is incredibly unique and very much additive but as always: you've gotta like patina and it has to speak to you. These are, relative to DJ's and Date's, still a total bargain. They are most of the way to their big brother Oyster watches with Rolex signed crown and caseback and bracelet but have their own vibe.

Dial: Silver that has a crazy and unusual dark patina over the dial lacquer, it sort of has the distribution of light to dark on a cheese pizza; it is certainly unique and unusual, the dial besides is in nice shape with tritium plots a nice and even color, applied baton markers, baton hands, and small rose-on-baton marker at 12 o'clock, roulette (red and black) date wheel
Condition: 82% (8.2 of 10): case is very nice, bracelet is nice and dial is nice but shows a heavy patina, working and functioning correctly
