For auction is a 2003 Technomarine Spider-Man Tourbillon Exclusif 1 of 1 18k white gold manual winding 100 hour power reserve Swiss. The Good: 1. An utterly insane watch that is incredibly ahead of its time. Technomarine was so hugely popular in the late 90's and early 2000's. So popular they were able to license Marvel characters for their watches. Mostly they did quartz though there were a few automatics here and there. This insane 1 of 1 prestige piece was completely out of left field. It is also 20 years before the AP Spider-Man Tourb which is wild to think about. 2. Extremely heavy watch at 147 grams; probably about 10k+ of gold weight. The movement is a version of the STT Tourbillon which brands like Alain Silberstein and Chronoswiss used; it ended up getting bought by Bovet Freres but is a very nice quality tourbillon. 3. Quite the power reserve on this watch and its kind of quirky: while it is a manual you can keep winding it due to the clutch still being in place. But I observed a solid 4 days of running on a full wind which was really impressive at the time. 4. Working and functioning correctly. 5. A real deal Spider-Man gold tourb for a mere fraction of what the AP one goes for and a 1 of 1 to boot. Such a weird and cool watch! The Bad: 1. Watch only.
