For auction is a 1960 Breitling Navitimer 806 98 bead bezel caliber 178 exceptional condition black dial with wonderfully aged patina and clean white chapter ring on an excellent unpolished case. It is cliche how overused the word iconic is when talking about or describing watches, but definitely accurate when talking about a Navitimer. One of the most identifiable three register chronographs ever and the most famous Breitling by a mile. A very nice example that only has a few minor hurts: the tiniest amount of staining on the white chapter and a touch of pitting on the caseback. Overall it is a very nice and very attractive example.

Dial: Glossy black gilt with radium numerals in exceptional condition aged to a gorgeous patina, perfectly white outer slide rule, gilt AOPA wings only logo no Breitling text and Navitimer model name at 6 o'clock
Condition: 85% (8.5 of 10): very excellent dial wiith only the tiniest staining on the white chapter, and great case upper with pitting on the caseback
