For auction is a 2017 Chanel Monsieur H4800 18k Beige Gold 40mm movement developed by Romain Gauthier and limited to 150 pieces. The Good: 1. This important piece was really the beginning of fashion house watch brands (like Louis Vuitton, Chanel, Hermes etc) to really start to take the horological side of things very seriously. While there had obviously been interesting and haute horology pieces from the fashion based brands prior this watch represented a new level of seriousness from them and the other fashion houses followed suit (especially LV). This calibre 1 was developed with Romain Gauthier and has instant jumping minutes and hours. The movement is a very modern highly technical marvel that is both complicated and gorgeous. 2. Full set in very clean lightly worn condition. 3. Working and functioning correctly, -2 seconds per day and +246 amplitude. The Bad: 1. Nothing.
