For auction is a 1990's Franck Muller 2800HM 38 37mm 18k yellow gold world time automatic. The Good: 1. Rare reference from the early days of the Franck Muller brand (when the eponymous Muller was more involved). 2. Classically beautiful design and size. The guilloche dial with applied Roman numerals and gilt outer 24 hour arabics; this dial is all about the small details. The case is just as nice; great details abound. The serpentine GMT hand is the cherry on top. 3. This reference came a few different ways; either having gold Roman Numerals or having blued Romans and either having a uniform colored 24 hour inner chapter or having a day/night style blue/silver chapter. This has what I think is the best features of the reference: yellow gold, blued Roman numerals and blue/silver GMT chapter. 4. Number 2! 5. Working and functioning correctly, -18 seconds per day and +172 amplitude. The Bad: 1. Watch only, no box or papers.

Condition: 88% (8.8 of 10): a clearly minimally worn watch, nice case and dial, working and functioning correctly
